Thousands of people took to the streets in Vienna on Saturday to protest against the inclusion of the far-right FPO party in the coalition government headed by Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. The FPO's fascist past has caused alarm among many but its anti-immigrant platform chimes well with policy ideas proposed by Kurz's centre-right People's Party. Police estimates put the crowds at around 20,000.

Wizz Air will ass Austria as the 44th country in its network by establishing base operations at Vienna Airport. Wizz will open its Austrian base with one Airbus A320 aircraft in June, which will be followed by the deployment of two additional Airbus A321 aircraft in November.
