Harry Styles Will Hold Week-Long Residency on The Late Late Show with James Corden

Harry Styles will have a week-long residency on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' next month.
The 23-year-old singer chatted to the CBS host in a FaceTime call posted on YouTube on Tuesday (04.25.17), to reveal he's heading to America and was looking for a temporary home.
Harry said: "I'm coming to LA soon, and I need somewhere to stay."
His 38-year-old pal replied: "Sure, if you want to stay at mine, you're welcome."
However, the 'Sign of the Times' musician was dissatisfied with the suggestion as he wanted to reside somewhere that felt more like "home".
Harry continued: "Oh God no. No, no , no, no. I want to stay at the studio.
"I just want to stay somewhere that feels like home.
But James wasn't initially taken with the idea, and has put in place a few house rules, including no visitors.
In the clip, he said: "Hang on. Are you saying you want to crash on 'The Late Late Show' coach, here, at the studio?
"Feels a bit weird to be honest."
"Fine, you're more than welcome to stay here for a week. But there are rules. No house guests.
"I think you know what I mean. Zero house guests. If you're crashing here, you have to work for it, you're going to have to pitch in."
The One Direction singer then volunteered to pay his way by singing on the show every evening, but the former 'Gavin & Stacey' star declined the option because he wants to be the only one who belts out the ballads on his program.
However, Harry will indeed be singing on the show and will perform a different track from his self-titled solo LP every night during his residency, which will begin on May 15, three days after the release of the record.
The 'Dunkirk' actor is also expected to appear in a variety of other segments throughout the week.
James has prayed for help ahead of Harry's guest stint.
He ended the conversation by saying: "A week of Harry Styles. God help us all."

Tarantulas use their lateral eyes to calculate distance

Added: 20.04.2017 17:42 | 3 views | 0 comments

A necessary part of any animal's sense of direction is a positioning system, allowing it to have an idea of the relation between where it is and where it wants to go; this is known as odometry. A new study shows that tarantulas use their posterior lateral eyes and anterior lateral eyes (they have a total of four pairs of eyes) to establish the distance they have traveled.

Harry Styles Slept in Ben Winston's Attic for Two Years

Added: 19.04.2017 17:58 | 43 views | 0 comments

Harry Styles slept on a mattress in Ben Winston's attic for two years.
The 23-year-old singer was looking to move into a property in Hampstead Heath in London, but he asked the film producer whether he could stay at his nearby abode for a short time while the finishing touches were put to the deal for his new house.
Ben explained: "Two weeks later and he hadn't bought his house yet. It wasn't going through. Then he said, 'I'm going to stay until Christmas, if you don't mind.' Then Christmas came, and ..."
Harry - who became a global star during his time in One Direction - actually ended up living with Ben and his wife Meredith for the next 20 months, even though fans of the heartthrob would still gather outside the empty property where he didn't actually live.
Ben told Rolling Stone magazine: "Those 20 months were when they went from being on a reality show, 'X Factor', to being the biggest-selling artists in the world.
"That period of time, he was living with us in the most mundane suburban situation. No one ever found out, really. Even when we went out for a meal, it's such a sweet family neighbourhood, no one dreamed it was actually him. But he made our house a home. And when he moved out, we were gutted."
During that period of time, Ben and has wife would stay awake at night to see who Harry would bring back home with him.
He explained: "That was always what we enjoyed, because we'd be in bed like an old couple. We'd have our spot cream on our faces and we'd be in our pajamas and the door would go off.
"The stairwell was right outside our door, so we'd wait to see if Harry was coming home alone or with people."
Harry insisted he was "always alone" because he was "scared of Meri".
But Ben remembers the situation slightly differently.
He said: "He wasn't always alone, but it was exciting seeing the array of A-listers that would come up and sleep in the attic. Or he'd come and lounge with us.
"We'd never discuss business. He would act as if he hadn't come back from playing to 80,000 people three nights in a row in Rio de Janeiro."
