The Expedia group has revealed that it intends to waive certain clauses in its agreements with its European hotel partners. Expedia’s waivers will become effective as at 1 August 2015 and Expedia will contact its hotel partners in Europe individually to communicate how it intends to implement the changes.

Sandals Resorts has revealed significant enhancements to Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa to be completed by December 2015. Qantas Airways will pay staff a one-off bonus of A$90 to employees affected by an 18-month wage freeze. More than 28,000 employees will receive a bonus, including those at low-cost subsidiary Jetstar. The deal is part of the workers’ collective agreement, Qantas said on Friday.
